Empowered Leadership, Collaborative Practice

Leadership in Critical Care isn’t optional — it’s essential. Our programs are intensivist‑led, with both physicians and APPs empowered to lead, teach, and drive improvement. Clinicians play a central role in shaping daily operations, guiding multidisciplinary rounds, optimizing care pathways, and mentoring trainees. We ensure they have the authority, resources, and support to influence decisions not only at the bedside, but across the broader hospital ecosystem. This collaborative model elevates professional judgment, strengthens team performance, and fuels innovation in every ICU we serve.

A Team Built on Trust and Respect

We believe that the best care comes from teams that trust one another. Our clinicians, intensivists and APPs alike work at the top of their license, contributing meaningfully to care plans and leading in smaller programs with Tele-ICU support. Every voice matters, and every insight helps us grow.

Our Tele-ICU program brings high-acuity care to hospitals that need it most, offering 24/7 access to Critical Care expertise, independently or in conjunction with on-site teams. This model enables collaboration across levels of experience and geography, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care, wherever they are.

  • Multidisciplinary collaboration across departments and specialties
  • Integrated care models with hospital and emergency medicine partners
  • A culture of mutual respect, inclusion, and shared purpose

Nationwide Support, Local Autonomy

Every Critical Care environment is different, and we honor that. We equip local leaders with the flexibility to tailor their practice to the needs of their community while surrounding them with robust national resources. Our operational, recruiting, and clinical support teams provide the infrastructure needed to stabilize staffing, streamline workflows, and implement best practices rooted in data and experience across our network. This balance allows clinicians to stay focused on delivering exceptional patient care while benefiting from the strength, scale, and shared learning of a nationwide Critical Care organization.

Purposeful Growth, Focused Development

Our clinicians can engage in teaching through affiliated residency, fellowship, and APP training programs, while benefiting from career development pathways tailored for both physicians and APPs. Our nationally recognized Critical Care podcast, "Critical Matters," hosted by Dr. Sergio Zanotti, Chief Medical Officer of Critical Care, showcases thought leaders and emerging innovations in the field, complemented by continuing medical education (CME) accredited programs and webinars that promote learning. Additionally, our Tele-ICU program extends expert Critical Care support nationwide, enhancing access and outcomes at local community hospitals.
