ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated summer Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student or recent college graduate to explore the marketing field, build valuable skills, and contribute to critical projects while applying what you’ve learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios and also learning from industry professionals. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Marketing Intern you will support the marketing team in executing a variety of tasks across different channels including social media, content creation, and marketing campaigns.

Content Creation and Social Media:

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Help generate content ideas, including blog posts, case studies, graphics, etc.
  • Manage content calendar and publication dates to ensure multi-functional teams are up to date and content is moving on time.
  • Monitor and track engagement across social media platforms.
  • Support email and landing page production for the website and in the marketing automation platform by assisting with template setup, copywriting and list management.

Market Research and Data Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to support new marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze data from marketing campaigns, website traffic, and social media performance.
  • Assist in preparing reports on campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Campaign Support:

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure that marketing materials are up-to-date and aligned with brand guidelines.

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Support the planning and promotion of events and tradeshows.

Administrative and Project Management Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing files, coordinating meetings, and assisting with project management tasks.
  • Provide support to the marketing team by managing content workflows within the online project management tool ensuring content is produced in a timely manner.

  • Regularly communicate with your supervisor to review progress, set goals, and receive feedback.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant coursework specifically focused on duties outlined in this position preferred
  • Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated from an accredited school, focusing in a relevant area of study
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
  • Junior and Senior level students preferred
