Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our well-established team of 2 MDs and 2-night APPs at Covenant Plainview Medical Center.
  • Work alongside our dedicated providers, committed to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with all stakeholders in a positive manner.
  • We promote a caring environment, value each other’s well-being, and seamlessly collaborate across hospital departments to achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be board-certified/eligible in internal medicine.
  • We accept internal medicine trained physicians. Family medicine with 2 plus years hospitalist experience. 2026 graduates are welcome to apply.
  • ACLS certification is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • 7-days-on, 7-days-off.
  • Open day hospitalist position shift is 7 am-7 pm, and you will be on call during your shift rotation. You will not need to go back into the hospital.
  • Nights are covered by an APP. We manage both the Hospitalist and Emergency Medicine departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical care and post-operative care to a 49-bed hospital.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound’s internal informatics platform.
  • Central lines and intubations experience preferred.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • Hourly compensation for the day shift is $2000; the daytime rounder's base yearly salary is $365,000.
  • Robust sign-on bonus and RVU & quality bonuses offered.
