Local Team Collaboration:

  • Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 21 physicians, 2 APPs, and a CPN at Tri-City Medical Center.
  • Our team comprises highly experienced clinicians and a few newer doctors. Many of the part-time clinicians also own private practice clinics.
  • We are a non-geographic organization, and clinicians work independently. Some work on a dyad with an APP.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
  • Must be able to start by June 2026.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • This is a PRN position with potential to go full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • All ICU patients are managed by the Intensivists – No procedures required.
  • Hospitalist team is responsible for in-house STEMI and stroke and serves as backup to the ICU nurses for rapid response. ER is the code blue team.

Residents also appreciate the diverse dining options, cultural events, and outdoor activities, making Oceanside a sought-after destination for those who desire a coastal lifestyle with a mix of recreational opportunities and a relaxed, beachside atmosphere.
  • The hospital is a full-service, acute-care public hospital with 365 licensed medical beds and a 28-bed ICU.
  • Our hospitalist practice is very collaborative; some clinicians have worked here for 20+ years. The team is deeply embedded in the hospital; some are physician advisors, and the chief of staff. They are very proud of their community.

Compensation: 

  • $1,700- $2,000 per shift, dependent on shift worked; days, swings, nights. Rounding, admissions, and cross-cover are dependent on shift.
