Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 16 physicians and 6 CRNAs at Montefiore Nyack Hospital
  • Our clinicians come from various geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, fostering an environment where we continuously learn from one another and approach patient care with fresh perspectives
  • We celebrate each other’s growth and accomplishments, always prioritizing patient safety and a strong work ethic

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine

Scheduling:

  • This role has a week-on / week-off schedule, which allows for a balanced approach to personal and outdoor pursuits

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in a focused, collaborative environment within our closed ICU setting, ensuring high-quality, individualized attention for each patient
  • Work alongside fourth-year students from Einstein School of Medicine and third-year medical students from Touro University, providing mentorship and hands-on learning experiences
  • Our APPs work collaboratively with a supervising physician to provide patient care in a supportive and friendly setting
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss critical items, and engage in monthly regional meetings to review performance and address outstanding practice matters
