We are hiring one Full-Time Hospitalist. This role will complete daily rounding, admissions, and discharge planning coupled with rapid response management and overall care of our patients in a supportive team environment.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • We take pride in our well-established team of 16 Physicians and 6 APPs.
  • Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.
  • We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound.

Scheduling:

  • 7 am-7 pm, 7 on 7 off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage admissions, especially during morning hours, round on patients, and manage rapid responses for own patients.
  • Open ICU with full critical care support.
  • No procedures are required. No Codes.

  • The hospital is located on the lake and provides the opportunity to be a part of new growth and development: new residential communities, new schools, new shopping stores, or you can be just a few minutes from rural living. If you prefer to be closer to St Louis, that is an option too - and it is still an easy commute.
  • Louis Lampert International Airport offers easy access to international travel and is located approximately 30 minutes from the hospital.
  • The St. Louis metro area offers excellent school options, including public, private, and parochial schools.
  • Some of the nation’s best universities are found here, including Washington University, St. Louis University, and the University of Missouri.
  • If you enjoy sports or the outdoors, you will find it here. St. Louis is home to the MLB Cardinals, MLS STL City, and the NHL’s St. Louis Blues. You will also find ample golf courses, walking and biking trails, and water activities.

Compensation:

  • Competitive compensation package to include shift rate coupled with incentives.
