We are hiring Nocturnist positionS. The nocturnist position requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • We are seeking nocturnist physicians to join our large, diverse group of 34 physicians and two APPs at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas.
  • We work collaboratively, maintain a healthy work/home balance, and try very hard to separate rounding duties from admitting.
  • We’ve fostered collegial relationships with the specialists. We pride ourselves on being a community hospital, but also quite capable of taking care of Level 1 trauma, acute CVA, and complicated heart issues.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified/eligible in internal or family medicine.
  • Open to 2026 graduates with strong ties to the area and that are open to long term nights.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

We are hiring two additional nocturnists:

We are open to part-time (7 shifts a month) and full-time (7 on/off)

  • Night shift 1:
    • 7 pm-5 am
    • Hold ER pager 9 pm-2 am
    • Cap of 10 admits
  • Night shift 2:
    • 10 pm-8 am
    • Hold ER pager 2 am-7 am
    • Cap of 10 admits

Key Responsibilities:

  • No procedural skills are needed; our doctors are not expected to run codes.
  • Ability to deal with complex medical and social situations and have a patient-centered and caring mindset.
  • Admitting role, you will have an APP covering the cross-coverage call.

Compensation:  $329K full time base salary plus quality and productivity bonuses.
