POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for automating and maintaining integration tests, API tests, Azure Event Hub tests, file data validation tests and UI tests. Schedule nightly runs of automated tests and report results. Provide technical and operational support for test automation and software testing efforts.
THE DETAILS
This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with possibility to extend. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Test automation knowhow on an agile software development team
- Automating integration testing including events on Azure Event Hubs, API test and UI tests
- API testing with a tool like Postman
- Testing SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, preferably with SQL Server
- Requirement analysis, test design and execution
- Knowledge of QA methodology, practices, and different types of testing e.g. functional, regression, integration, data validation, performance, exploratory etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of software test automation experience
- 5 years of API test automation
- 3 years with SQL preferably with SQL Server
- Experience automating integration or end to end system testing
- Experience with Playwright preferred
- Experience with Python preferred
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Pay Range:$80-$100 per hour. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographic location.
