The Business Development Manager (BDM), Sound Long Term Care Management ACO (SLTCM) is primarily responsible for supporting the Business Development team in achieving monthly growth targets. As part of this responsibility, the BDM is accountable for maintaining accurate contact information Salesforce or similar RCM system, conducting market research in support of team delivering on its territory plans, and reporting on metrics and insights related to lead quality and campaign influence.
The Business Development Manager will also support the complete sales cycle including market segmentation, data collection and analysis, sales pipeline management as well as developing and delivering presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Create and execute outreach and partnership BD strategies, in conjunction with SLTCM’s BD Senior Vice President and BD Directors, to targeted physicians and skilled nursing facilities , achieving SLTCM goals for closed ACO participation agreements and telemedicine agreements through direct contracting or via preferred partnerships.
• Work with Sound’s marketing team to construct messaging and collateral in support of and implement SLTCM’s business development strategy
• Manage inbound leads and referrals from marketing to facilitate sales process
• Manage post sales meeting follow up: data collection & follow up calls
• Maintain data base (Salesforce.com) to track pipeline, KPIs, and activity progress
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, TRAINING, OR SPECIAL LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS NEEDED TO PERFORM YOUR JOB:
• Knowledge of business research methods, from data mining to market research.
• Passion for business information - inquisitive and creative desire to learn and gain knowledge about the marketplace.
• Analytical mindset.
• Must be very knowledgeable with all aspects of Salesforce.com sales management software.
• Excellent organizational abilities.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, with a focus in Healthcare
Experience
Minimum: 2 years in healthcare business development or sales support experience
Preferred: 3+ years of healthcare business development and sales support
Salary
This position offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, as well as an incentive program outside of base pay. Exact salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, education and geographic location.
