Local Team Collaboration:

Join our growing team of 34+ physicians and 2 APPs at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital.

Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible in internal or family medicine.
Availability: Late Fall 2026 - January 2027. We are not accepting 2027 graduating residents at this time.
ACLS and BLS certified.
We proudly sponsor H1b visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required visa filing fees are covered by Sound.

Scheduling:

Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
Day and Swing positions available.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to codes and rapids.
Closed ICU and no procedural requirements.

Located on the saltwater banks of Puget Sound, just 35 miles south of Seattle, Tacoma, WA, is the third-largest city in Washington State, with a population of just under 225,000. Tacoma is an urban destination known for its breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier and warm community feel.

Rewards and Compensation:

Annual salary is over $288k, depending on the number and variety of shifts worked.

Step into leadership at the practice level as an Associate Medical Director or Medical Director. In these roles, you’ll guide clinical teams, collaborate with hospital partners, and ensure operational and clinical excellence at a single site.
Multi-site Leadership :
Expand your impact by overseeing multiple practices as a System Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, or Regional Chief Medical Officer. These roles involve strategic leadership, mentoring physician leaders, and driving performance across a region.
