Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs at Dwayne and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital.
- Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.
- Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
- Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Scheduling:
- Full-time or part-time positions available.
- Our emergency department provides 38 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-quality patient care to a freestanding children’s hospital setting with an 18-bed ED and 14-bed pediatric ICU, seeing 45,000 patients annually.
- Foster collaboration and support among team members.
- Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus.
- Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
