We are hiring for both hospitalist and nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.​​

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit team of 4physicians and 2 APPs at Presbyterian Santa Fe.
  • Work alongside a fantastic team of hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology.
  • Our physicians are from all over the country, reflecting the unique and diverse environment.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS and BLS.
  • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Scheduling:

  • Full-time, 7 on/off schedule, 12-hour shifts.
  • Rotate with the other physicians through days and nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open ICU-6 beds. Procedural skills are REQUIRED: Central lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, thoracentesis. **We can help train for arterial lines and small-bore chest tubes.
  • The Hospitalist team is part of the rapid response team and responds to codes. The average census per doctor is 10-14.
  • Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.

  • The capital city of Santa Fe is located near the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Jemez Mountains. Santa Fe has a unique, rich culture shaped by a multicultural community. Known for its art scene, Santa Fe also attracts outdoorsmen with endless opportunities for hiking, golfing, biking, boating, and winter sports.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • Daytime shift rate: $1829, night shift Rate: $2109.
  • Eligible for quality and productivity bonuses.
