Local Team Collaboration:

  • We take pride in our well-established team of 12 Physicians and 2 APPs.
  • Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
  • All levels of experience considered.
  • We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for visas are covered by Sound.

Scheduling:

  • Day rounding hospitalist hours 7 am-7 pm; 7 days on - 7 days off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage admissions, especially during morning hours, round on patients, and manage rapid responses for own patients.
  • Open ICU with minimal expectation of our team - full critical care support.
  • No procedures or code blue response required.

St Charles, population just over 70,000, is a quiet, family-friendly suburb of St. Louis, steps from the beautiful Missouri River. Our hospital is in historic downtown St. Charles, with ample dining and shopping options right outside our door. We are also just a few blocks from Frontier Park, which is home to Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Nature Center.   Here you can find walking and biking trails and amazing views of the river. St Charles loves to host festivals and live music through the seasons. We love major league sports (Baseball, Hockey, and Soccer), Music (known as the hub of musical activity for decades), wineries, golf courses, and parks. There is no doubt you will find something you enjoy in this thriving community!


Rewards and Compensation:

  • Full-time yearly base salary of $294,000.
  • Productive and quality incentives are provided in addition to the base salary.
