Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team of 21 physicians, 2 APPs, and a CPN at Tri-City Medical Center.
- Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians who bring a variety of geographic, educational, and training backgrounds to our team. Our advanced practice clinicians work to the top of their scope, with support from attending physicians when needed.
- Many team members actively participate in hospital committees, such as the medical executive committee, and lead initiatives to improve patient care and update order sets.
- We are a family-oriented group committed to your wellness and combating burnout. We value work-life balance and provide regular opportunities for engagement and feedback through monthly remote and in-person meetings.
Qualifications:
- ACNP or FNP with 1-2 years of inpatient experience required.
- Candidates must be board certified or eligible with the expectation of obtaining board certification.
- Current CA license preferred.
- Start date for the position is late 2026/early 2027.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour shifts; 6 am-6 pm
- Full-time employment is 182 shifts per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Round and support admissions as needed.
- All ICU patients are managed by the Intensivists – No procedures required.

- The hospital is a full-service, acute-care public hospital with 365 licensed medical beds and a 28-bed ICU.
- Our hospitalist practice is very collaborative; some clinicians have worked here for 20+ years. The team is deeply embedded in the hospital; some are physician advisors, and the chief of staff. They are very proud of their community.
Rewards and Compensation:
- Compensation for full time = $150,000
- Paid malpractice, including tail coverage

Assume leadership responsibilities at the practice level as a Lead Advanced Practice Provider, Associate Medical Director, or Medical Director. In these roles, you will oversee clinical teams, collaborate with hospital partners, and ensure both operational and clinical excellence within a single-site setting.

Expand your impact by supporting multiple practices as a Regional or Divisional Lead Advanced Practice Provider. These roles emphasize the recruitment and retention of Advanced Practice Providers and facilitate team integration initiatives.
