Local Team Collaboration:

Join our team of physicians at Oak Valley District Hospital –a group of 4 hospitalists providing coverage to this growing community
Work alongside our Sound emergency medicine team, among other specialists

Qualifications:

Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in California.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

7 on/off block scheduling or flexible blocked scheduling is available to provide structure and flexibility to your work schedule.
Part-time options are offered to accommodate diverse personal and professional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Rounding and admitting includes Rapid Response and Code Blues.
Work in an open ICU setting
Procedures preferred, but not mandatory.

Oakdale is a family-friendly, historic town, home to boutique shopping and diverse cuisine, and it is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast.
This area’s attractions include Woodward Reservoir, Cowboy Museum, Orange Blossom Recreation Area, and Greger Basin
The natural beauty of Oakdale is unbeatable! The Stanislaus River and the Sierra Nevada foothills are close by. Also, this area is considered the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Dodge Ski Resort, and Stanislaus National Forest.
This is also near two major cities – Modesto and Stockton.
Our guiding principle is patient-first care, which means we focus on the people of Oakdale and nearby areas. You’ll be part of a team that’s making a real difference in the health of our neighbors.

Rewards and Compensation:

Compensation: Base shift rate + premium pay for travel.
Full-time traveling hospitalist role with annual compensation over $400,000
Quality bonus and productivity eligibility are in addition to base compensation.

Step into leadership at the practice level as an Associate Medical Director or Medical Director. In these roles, you’ll guide clinical teams, collaborate with hospital partners, and ensure operational and clinical excellence at a single site.
Multi-site Leadership :
Expand your impact by overseeing multiple practices as a System Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, or Regional Chief Medical Officer. These roles involve strategic leadership, mentoring physician leaders, and driving performance across a region.
