We are hiring a Critical Care Nocturnist. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
- At Montefiore Nyack Hospital, our strong, collaborative team includes 4 Intensivists and 2 Critical Care APPs.
- Within the hospital, we work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth care transitions.
- We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
- As an award-winning Certified Stroke Center, Nyack Hospital has dedicated specialists and resources to expedite care for stroke patients.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine.
- Active New York License and DEA.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour day shift and 12-hour night shift model.
- Average of 15 shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team of critical care professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to ICU patients as part of the Intensivist team in a 391-bed, Level III trauma center.
- Value teamwork as part of the larger multi-disciplinary team.
