Local Team Collaboration:

  • At Montefiore Nyack Hospital, our strong, collaborative team includes 4 Intensivists and 2 Critical Care APPs.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth care transitions.
  • We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
  • As an award-winning Certified Stroke Center, Nyack Hospital has dedicated specialists and resources to expedite care for stroke patients.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU
  • Board Certified Physician Assistant
  • Active New York License and DEA.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • 10-hour day shift schedule for APPs
  • Average of 15 shifts per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a collaborative team of critical care professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to ICU patients in this 391-bed, Level III trauma center.
  • Value teamwork as part of the larger multi-disciplinary team.
