Local Team Collaboration:

  • We are seeking day hospitalists to join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Work alongside a dedicated team that thrives on collaboration. We offer a supportive environment where teamwork is a cornerstone of our approach.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification or eligibility in family or internal medicine.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.

Scheduling:

  • We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a flexible schedule with day shifts to accommodate personal commitments.
  • Our team fosters a culture of support, where we cover for each other when someone needs time off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage various cases in a 42-bed non-profit, faith-based hospital serving multiple surrounding counties, so you’re not just another provider—you’re a key part of the region’s healthcare access. 
  • Opportunity to focus on complex cases in a semi-open ICU, giving you more autonomy and hands-on experience.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff and engage in key medical staff committees, including the credentialing and medical executive committees, to improve communication and patient care.
  • Work within a structured program divided into 2 daytime groups, with support from a dedicated nocturnist APP for night coverage.
