We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 5 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners at Memorial Regional Medical Center and our larger team of 9 advanced practitioners and 15 physicians across our four critical care programs in the Richmond area.
- Work alongside an experienced, dedicated critical care team.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible physician assistants.
- Active PA license with at least 3 years of independent critical care experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Modified block scheduling.
- Nocturnist: 12 hour night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative ICU coverage with critical care physicians.
- Management of critically ill patients in the ICU.
- ICU procedures to include central lines, arterial lines, intubations, etc.

Expand your impact by supporting multiple practices as a Regional or Divisional Lead Advanced Practice Provider. These roles emphasize the recruitment and retention of Advanced Practice Providers and facilitate team integration initiatives.
