We are hiring for both hospitalist and nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Nocturnist candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • Become part of a close-knit team of 8 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners with the support of a clinical performance nurse and practice coordinator at Meadville Medical Center
  • Meadville Medical Center is a 235-bed community hospital

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO
  • Board-certified/eligible in family medicine
  • Pennsylvania State Medical License or the ability to apply for one
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • We proudly sponsor H1B candidates with in-house visa specialists

Scheduling:

  • Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days off rotation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-spectrum care for low-to-moderate acuity patients, from assessment and diagnosis to treatment and consultation
  • Admit and care for adult and pediatric inpatients
  • The hospital has a closed ICU. No procedural and code requirements
  • We work with family medicine residents from the Meadville Medical Center family medicine residency. Family Medicine physicians are eligible to be Core Faculty

Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate the area’s abundant recreational opportunities, from hiking, biking, and kayaking to exploring nearby Woodcock Lake Park and the Erie National Wildlife Refuge.

Meadville is conveniently located 45 minutes from Erie, PA, 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh, PA, and two hours from both Cleveland, OH, and Buffalo, NY.
