Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 3 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- ABIM or ABFM certified.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- This position does not sponsor J-1 and H-1 visa waivers.
Scheduling:
- 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule with flexibility for time off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Round on patients with admissions.
- Help support the hospitalist team’s efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at Ascension Via Christi Hospital, Manhattan.
- Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
- Open ICU with teleintensivists. No procedures but run codes and rapid response.

- Manhattan is widely considered a great place to live and has a vibrant community feel. It is a friendly, scenic college town of about 54,00 anchored by Kansas State University and close to Fort Riley.
- Located in the scenic Flint Hills, residents enjoy easy access to hiking at the Konza Prairie and boating or camping at Tuttle Creek Lake.
- Our team puts patients first and offers opportunities for career development while encouraging meaningful involvement in the local community.
Rewards and Compensation:
- Excellent annual compensation ranges from $354,000 to $374,000, with productivity and quality incentives.
- Full benefits with matching 401 (k).
- Annual CME allowance.
