Local Team Collaboration:
- Become part of a cohesive and long-standing team at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine or board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience.
- Final-year residents are welcome to apply for summer/fall 2027.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- 26 hours of physician coverage in the ED with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- 20 hours of APP coverage.
- Full-time status is 120 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-quality patient care in an 18-bed emergency department with approximately 24,000 annual visits and a 13% admission rate.
- Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Lead in quality to help our hospital achieve excellence across the ED care experience.
