Bring Better to the Bedside as a Hospital Medicine Physician Assistant in Macon, Georgia at Piedmont Macon Northside

Local Team Collaboration:

Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 4 APPs at Piedmont Macon Northside.
Work alongside one MD/DO hospitalist during the day, rounding on an average of 12 patients/day.

Qualifications:

Board-certified PA.
Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

12-hour day shifts with a doctor for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.
See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist, with the doctor handling all procedures, codes, and rapid responses, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making
Utilize EPIC with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.

Rewards and Compensation:

Compensation: $140,000/year.
CME allowance.
Paid malpractice insurance + tail insurance.
