Local Team Collaboration:
- At CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial in Lufkin, our strong, collaborative team includes thirteen physicians.
- We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership.
- Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- Minimum of one year in hospital medicine as a leader in an associate medical director or director-level role.
- We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required visa filing fees are covered by Sound.
Scheduling:
- A combination of clinical and administrative time.
- 10 clinical shifts per month, and 60 hours a month of protected administrative time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and leadership to a team of seasoned providers.
- Collaborate with both Sound Physicians leaders, as well as hospital leaders, in meeting key goals in care delivery and quality metrics.
