We are hiring for a hospitalist position. Candidates must be comfortable rounding and admitting patients during their shift.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join a team of 50 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers at Community Regional Medical Center.
- Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.
- Our team members actively participate in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
- Community Medical Centers is affiliated with UCSF Fresno, which offers training to residents and fellows.
- Community Regional Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
- Board Certified/board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.

Flexible Scheduling:
- Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with opportunity for moonlighting.
- This is a full or part-time hospitalist role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care in a closed ICU environment. Focus on rounding and admitting patients.
- Procedures are not required.
- Be part of the Rapid Response team for your patients.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
- Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
- Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
- Utilize Epic EMR system.

- Enjoy a mild year-round climate with more than 300 days of sunshine annually.
Rewards and Compensation:
- Annual compensation up to $315,000 - $385,000, based on the number and type of shifts worked. Eligible for additional productivity and quality bonuses.
- Moonlighting premium for additional shifts.
