Make an Impact Where it Matters Most as a Hospitalist in North Fresno, California

Deliver patient-centered care that makes a difference. In this role, you’ll collaborate with highly specialized surgeons within a state of the art Surgical and Heart Center. Contribute to clinical excellence and enjoy opportunities for professional growth – all while serving the Fresno community.

We are hiring for a hospitalist position. Candidates must be comfortable rounding and admitting patients during their shift.

Local Team Collaboration:

Join a team of 6 physicians at Fresno Heart and Surgical Center.
Work alongside Cardiac, Vascular, and Bariatric surgeons in providing the highest level of care to patients within a 48-bed specialty care hospital. Here you will become an integral member of the hospital and community.

Qualifications:

Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Board Certified/board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.

Flexible Scheduling:

Day shift hours are 7 am - 7 pm. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
This is a full or part-time position. full-time preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient care for patients receiving care in an environment that requires and promises an elevated patient experience.
Work very closely with surgeons and surgical teams in caring for pre-and post-surgical adult patients of all ages.
No procedures required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives, including length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
Utilize Epic EMR system.

Rewards and Compensation:

Annual compensation up to $315,000 - $385,000, based on the number and type of shifts worked.
Eligible for additional productivity and quality bonuses.
Moonlighting premium for additional shifts.
