We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

- We’re a welcoming, resilient team of 22 physicians and 10 advanced practitioners who work closely with other hospital staff and departments at Frederick Memorial to deliver the best possible quality of care to our patients.

- Our clinical performance nurses assist you in providing a high-quality patient care experience.
- Sound's teams also cover the Critical Care Unit and Emergency Room.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Hospitalist experience required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
- Full-time position follows a 7-day-on, 7-day-off rotation.
- The nocturnist position is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- The nocturnist shift physicians perform admissions, and will split the responsibility with an APP.
- Our hospitalist team plays a pivotal role in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements.
- We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.
- We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
- We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Rewards and Compensation:
- The base salary range for a full-time nocturnist is $319,000 to $346,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and growth. Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
