Local Team Collaboration:
- We take pride in our well-established team at Presbyterian Plains Regional of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
- Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
- This is part of the Presbyterian System which is a total of 9 hospitals in NM. This 106 bed hospital services Eastern NM and West TX.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- 2027 graduates encouraged to apply.
- We proudly sponsor J1 visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required filing fees for the visa are covered by Sound.
Scheduling:
- Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- As a Nocturnist, you will be working nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- As a Daytime Hospitalist, you will be working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Will have an average census of 18 per doctor.
- Average floor calls of about 80.
- NO Procedures.
- Most specialists are in-house.
- CRNAs manage the 7 ICU beds.
- Our EMR is EPIC.

- The southwestern city of Clovis is a part of Curry County, New Mexico which has a population of just under 50,000.
- Clovis is a family-friendly community with rich rock and roll music, cowboy and agricultural historical roots.
- Clovis offers low cost of living with plenty of entertainment options including professional and youth rodeo events as well as music and art festivals.
- Quick drive to Lubbock, TX, Santa FE, NM and Albuquerque, NM. You are also a quick flight to places like DFW and Houston.
Rewards and Compensation:
- Day Shift Rate of $1,900 and Night Shift Rate of $2,000.
- Daytime hospitalist will have a base pay of $346,750 and nocturnist will have a base salary of $365,000.
- $50,000 sign on bonus.
- Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus.
- Full benefits including CME allowance.
- Relocation assistance.
