Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our close-knit, well-established team of 8 physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital.
  • Enjoy strong partnerships across the hospital, including a solid working relationship with Sound’s hospitalist program.
  • All our providers live within one hour of the facility; some are residents of the hospital's community.
  • Work in a stable nursing environment with excellent support—our nurses and ED staff are experienced, engaged, and great to collaborate with.
  • Benefit from a team-oriented culture where everyone works together, with mutual respect and shared goals.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Open to J-1 visa candidates with in-house visa specialists and filing fees covered.

Scheduling:

  • A flexible schedule is available,and our team covers for each other when we’re out. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care at ProMedica Charles Virginia Hickman Hospital, a 58-bed Level IV trauma center with a 27-bed emergency department, certified as a stroke center.
  • Volume: 28K annual visits with 34 hours of physician coverage complemented by 12 hours of APP coverage
  • EM Physicians respond to floor codes.
  • We use EPIC as an EMR
  • Our main supporting facility for transfers is ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, with a helicopter service.

Rewards and Compensation:

  • W-2 $240/hour for all shifts.
  • Paid malpractice, including tail coverage.
  • No non-competes.
