Local Team Collaboration:

  • Lead our close-knit team of three intensivists and four critical care advanced practitioners at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
  • Work alongside our team comprised of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who share a dedication to the practice of critical care medicine.

Qualifications:

  • A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and successful completion of a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Board-certified or eligible in Critical Care Medicine is required.
  • At least 10 years of Critical Care experience with 3 years leading a team of critical care providers.
  • An active medical license in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain one is required.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Flexible Scheduling:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to medical and surgical patients in an ICU within a 249-bed community hospital.
  • Lead multidisciplinary rounds with active team participation.
  • Demonstrate care within an ICU setting for medical and surgical patients with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care.
  • Participate in and encourage other team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
