Local Team Collaboration:
- We are a closely knit, established team of six physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse.
- Our group comes from worldwide, including the USA, Canada, Pakistan, and South America.
- We are directly involved in many committees, including sepsis, code blue, stroke, etc.
- We work closely with nurses for our specialized Plan of Care visits and have daily multidisciplinary rounds with case managers, nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- We work in an open 10-bed low-acuity ICU with additional intensivist coverage during the day. Our team is expected to be able to perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubation, respond to rapid response, and run CODE BLUEs.
- We proudly sponsor H1B and J1 visa candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling:
- We staff two physicians and one APP per day shift (7 am—7 pm) and one physician on nights (7 pm—7 am) and we help cover for our teammates when needed.
