Intensivist – Langhorne, PA

To our prospective teammates,

I’m the Regional Medical Director for our intensivist program at St. Mary Medical Center, a level 2 teaching hospital located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. I’ve been a part of Sound Critical Care since 2004, when I joined as a staff intensivist. I’m proud of the critical care team we have built in Langhorne and welcome interest from new graduate and practicing critical care physicians.

I’d like to share more about who we are and what we do — specifically about our people, practice, and purpose — as you consider your options:

  • Our team at St. Mary Medical Center is an experienced team of 5 intensivists and 2 critical care advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Our team is comprised of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds with a shared dedication to the practice of critical care medicine.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with our colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth transitions of care. We encourage our team members to be active participants in committees and to become part of the larger hospital team.
  • Langhorne is located in beautiful Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Conveniently located between Philadelphia and Trenton, candidates are able to choose from endless communities in which to reside.
  • St. Mary Medical Center is a 373-bed community hospital and part of the larger Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic healthcare family. Named Best Regional Hospital by US News and World Report for 2023-2024, St. Mary Medical Center is an award-winning hospital that has been serving the Langhorne community for generations.
  • The ICU units contain Medical, Surgical, Cardiovascular, and Neurology beds.
  • Intensivist lead multidisciplinary rounds with participation from internal medicine residents are a fundamental part of our practice and occur every day with active team participation.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k, paid medical malpractice with tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
  • We put patients first. Always.
  • We value and support growth and development in our critical care medicine practice, allowing you to explore new opportunities locally and within the broader medical group.
  • We’re a community-minded team and support involvement and contributions to community health and wellness in and out of the hospital.

If you would like to explore this exciting opportunity, please contact my recruiting partner, who will connect you with me.
