Local Team Collaboration:
- Be part of an established, cohesive Intensivist team and collaboratively within the unit and within the hospital at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Physicians must be board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care medicine
- Active Texas medical license with no restrictions
- A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting
- Ability to perform all technical skills in the ICU. Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
- Block shift scheduling, an average of 15 shifts per month
- Flexible scheduling rotations
- Weekdays are covered by two 11-hour day physicians, one 9-hour swing shift physician, and one 12-hour night physician.
- Weekends are covered by one 12-hour day physician, one 10-hour day physician, and one 12-hour night physician
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients in the 40-bed comprehensive ICU
- Medical, general surgical, thoracic surgical, vascular surgical, and neurological surgical patients
- Ability to cite experience working collaboratively within the ICU with all team members and across the hospital.
