I’m Daniyal Ansari, MD, the medical director for AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway, located in Palm Coast, Florida. I have been a part of Sound Physicians for five years. I’m proud of the practice we have built and welcome interest from physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) coming out of training or desiring a career change. I’d like to share more about it, specifically about our people, practice, and purpose, as you consider options:

People

• We are a closely knit, established team of 20 physicians and 4 APPs, with the support of a clinical performance nurse.
• Many of our physicians are international, and a fair percentage are bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Palm Coast is a friendly, laid-back beach community, so we all enjoy the outdoors with our family, and we are only five minutes from the beach. Every weekend during the spring and summer, there is a farmers’ market down by the pier, and you can get fresh fruits, vegetables, and homemade bread.
• We proudly sponsor H1B and J1 visa candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.

Practice

• We welcome the challenge of complex cases. Our ICU at Palm Coast is co-managed with Intensivist support during the day, and at Parkway, there is a 24/7 intensivist program, and the ICU is closed (our team is not expected to do procedures).
• Every morning, we have an interdisciplinary meeting with pharmacy and case management, and we discuss patient plans with the team.
• Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we’re out.
