Qualifications:
- We seek team members who can ideally start by September 2025 and who are Board-certified or eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
- All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.

Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
- Our model is 182 shifts per year, working 7 on, 7 nights off, Tuesday – Monday.
- Shift hours are 12 hours in length.
- All team members will pitch in and cover night shifts on occasion, though nights are not a regular rotation.
- Current needs include one part-time position at 7 shifts per month and one full-time position at 15.2 shifts per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rounding Hospitalist will manage a panel of patients from admission assignment to discharge. Admissions are shared between the hospitalists in round robin fashion with one hospitalist carrying the admission pager.
- Respond to all rapid responses, stroke alerts and Code Blues, though critical care is in house as well as residents who often like to run the codes.
- Our team does not teach on a regular basis, therefore, this is not a faculty position.

- Mason City, population of 30,000, is in North Central Iowa, halfway between the capital cities of St Paul, Minnesota and Des Moines, Iowa.
