We are hiring for a PRN Nocturnist. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:
- We take pride in our well-established team of 28 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers at SSM DePaul.
- Work alongside highly trained specialists across the continuum of specialties.
- Closed ICU
- No procedures
- Can be cross-credentialed and eligible to pick up shifts at our Lake St. Louis and St. Charles hospitals.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
- All levels of experience considered. New graduates, residents, and fellows are welcome to apply.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
- Nocturnist hours are 7 pm-7 am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nocturnists will collaborate with an advanced practice provider throughout the night to manage admissions, cross-coverage calls, and Rapid Responses.
- Our team does not respond to Code Blue or admit or treat patients in the ICU

- Bridgeton is a suburb of Greater St. Louis, located a short, 25-minute commute to downtown St. Louis. Named the “20-minute city” for little traffic and easy commute, St. Louis is best known for the Gateway Arch, built in the 1960s, honoring westward expansion.
- St. Louis Lampert International Airport offers easy access to international travel 15 minutes from the hospital.
