Qualifications:

  • ABIM or ABFM certified with significant prior hospitalist Director experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • Monday – Friday with the ability to work 5 clinical shifts/month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts in utilization management, compliance, and clinical documentation improvement at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
  • Collaborate with hospital administration to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings and provide ongoing education and support to our clinicians.
  • We work in Meditech Expanse, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Compensation: The base salary is $350,000, which includes 5-day shifts per month, along with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth. Additional compensation is paid for shifts worked above full-time commitment.
