People First in Savannah, GA
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 32 physicians and 7 APPs at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
- Leading the hospitalist and working with the C-suite to achieve the highest standards for core measures and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- ABIM or ABFM certified with significant prior hospitalist Director experience, preferred at a large tertiary, academic hospital.
- 100% administrative (with 2 Co-Associate Directors, each working 100% clinically)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Attend department head meetings and ongoing meetings with the C-suite.
Practice in the Heart of the Savannah
Scheduling:
- Monday – Friday with the ability to work up to 4 clinical shifts/month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts in utilization management, compliance, and clinical documentation improvement at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
- Collaborate with hospital administration to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings and provide ongoing education and support to our network of physicians.
