Local Team Collaboration:

We’re looking for an experienced physician leader who will oversee both our Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine Service lines. Bring your leadership expertise to lead these community-centered EM and HM teams, committed to delivering great care. Enjoy a sustainable career with autonomy, predictable hours, and dedicated administrative time to support maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications:

  • Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
  • Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications
  • At least 2 years of experience leading an Emergency Medicine or Hospital Medicine team
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Scheduling:

  • Flexibility with scheduling of clinical shifts
  • Dedicated administrative time

Emergency Department Overview:

  • 12-bed ED with all private rooms and 4 fast-track beds
  • 6+ EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers
  • Clinical shifts are 12 hours; 9 am-9 pm and 9 pm-9 am
  • Our model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 10 hours per day of APP coverage
  • Annual volume of 20,579 with a 4% admission rate
  • Average of 2.1 patients per hour
  • The hospital includes 5 ICU beds and 30 med/surg beds
  • Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026.
  • Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI available during daytime hours.
  • Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care.

Hospitalist Service Overview:

  • The hospital includes 30 med/surg beds
  • 2 Hospitalists – each will work a 7 on/7 off schedule, and clinical shifts are 7 am-7 pm
  • Day rounding includes Rapid Response and Code Blues.
  • If intubations are required, then the ED physician will assist.
  • Night coverage is provided by Telemed MD.
