I am the system medical director for Sound Physicians emergency medicine practice at Mercy Hospital Pittsburg in Pittsburg, Kansas. I’ve proudly been a part of Sound for the past three years, and I welcome physicians and advanced practice providers who seek new opportunities or are embarking on a career change. Practice
- We are a community-based hospital with a 16-bed emergency department, seeing over 19,000 visits annually.
- We are looking for board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physicians or family medicine physicians with emergency medicine experience.
- Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule. We are always there to support each other when covering shifts. Currently, our shift times are 6 am-6 pm.

- Regular monthly meetings, both remote and in-person, foster engagement and provide a platform for feedback.
- Full-time status is 120 hours per month.
