Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of eight physicians and three advanced practice providers.
- $200 million newly built Pediatric Emergency Department
Qualifications:
- Board-certified Physician Assistant.
- 1+ year of experience in an EM setting with Peds exposure.
- Procedure experience required.
- ACLS/BLS/PALS required.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
- 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.
- Split time in Peds and Adult ED areas.
- Mix of Swings (Peds), Days (Adult), and Nights (Adult).
- We are entertaining candidates interested in Full-time, Part-time, and PRN commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow APPs and physicians in managing a thriving and very busy ED.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Opportunity to mentor NP/PA students who rotate through the ED.
- Integrated care program – Sound manages the hospitalist, critical care, and emergency medicine services.
