Located just outside of downtown Memphis, Methodist North is a nice size community hospital licensed at 246 beds and provides excellent personalized care to all patients.
- 34 bed ED with bedside ultrasound; CT/ultrasound 24/7
- ED volume – 67,000 with a 20% admission rate
- Excellent subspecialty support and medical staff – highly supportive and collegial
- No call environment; Procedure experience preferred
- Cerner EMR
- Schedule: Triage position working 8 and 10 hours shifts days and nights

Requirements of Advanced Practitioners
The Sound Physicians’ emergency medicine leadership recognizes the medical team as key to the success of our hospital partnerships. The clinical onboarding of all our nurse practitioners and physician assistants is a coordinated process that recognizes the skill level of the APP based on a tiered approach to their clinical experience. While the EM APP onboarding program is standardized, it is guided and overseen at the site level by site-specific leaders.
- ACLS/BLS/PALS required
- Current, unrestricted license in TN
- FNP or ACNP; Open to all levels of experience
