Local Team Collaboration:

  • Due to proven success within the Sutter system, we are expanding to begin managing the ICU at Sutter Delta on October 1st.
  • Lead our newest Intensivist program at Sutter Delta Medical Center. The Director will lead a team of three intensivists and two critical care advanced practitioners.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified in Critical Care medicine. An active California license is required.
  • Must have at least 10 years of Critical Care experience with 3 years leading a team of critical care providers.
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Scheduling:

  • Block schedule day shifts only, and minimal night call from home. We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring intensivists achieve an outstanding work/family life balance.
  • 12 clinical shifts per month plus administrative duties. The director can work more clinically if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Our Sutter Delta campus is a 141-bed hospital and STEMI center with a 12-bed ICU. The majority of our patients are medical, with some post-op surgery patients.
  • One Intensivist is available during the day from 7 am-7 pm, with one NP/PA in-house from 7 pm-7 am, supported by a tele-ICU physician. Tele-ICU physician is first call, with the Intensivist taking the second night call from home.
  • We work in EPIC, with access to our own internal informatics platform.
