To prospective teammates,
I’m the medical director for Providence St. Vincent’s Medical Center located in Portland, OR. I have been a part of Sound since Sound assumed anesthesia responsibilities at PPMC in November 2023 and have been practicing at Providence St. Vincent’s for over 15 years. I’m proud of the anesthesia practice we have built and welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or desiring a career change. I want to share more about it, specifically about our people, practice, and purpose, as you consider options:
People
- We are a collaborative, caring team whose main purpose is bringing better to the bedside.
- We are a newly established care team that will consist of 22 physicians and 46 CRNAs.
- We are a solo physician care and collaborative care team model comprised of Anesthesiologists and CRNAs; not to exceed 1:4 ratio.
Practice
- Providence St. Vincent’s Medical Center is a large medical center with peds, CV, orthopedics, General, OB/GYN, and vascular services.
