I am honored to serve as the medical director for Sound Anesthesia’s practice at Banner University Medical Center. I have been part of the Sound Anesthesia team for the past year and take immense pride in the anesthesia program we have built and serve as a model of success well into the future. People
- We are seeking a team of highly motivated, clinically skilled anesthesiologists to become part of our care team model practice.
- We have a talented group of mostly fellowship-trained physicians and some of the strongest CRNAs in the Valley.
- Our team consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 39 CRNAs.
- Sound Anesthesia is composed of a rich tapestry of clinicians hailing from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, each of whom relies on and learns from one another in our shared commitment to patient care.
- We foster close collaboration with our surgical and perioperative colleagues, ensuring that we collectively provide the highest standard of anesthesia care for the Phoenix community.
- Our team enjoys high retention rates and collaboratively ensures coverage for time off.
Practice
- Banner University Medical Center is a nationally recognized and busy 733-bed academic Level I Trauma Center and is one of Arizona’s leading hospitals.
- Physicians act in a supervisory role but enjoy a good amount of clinical work performed independently. W2 or 1099 contract options are available.
- Compensation is guaranteed at $425,000 for W2 or $442,500 for 1099. You can pick up extra shifts for extra pay.
- A $25,000 quality bonus and sign-on bonus are available.
- 8 weeks of scheduled time off annually.
- Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability coverage, a 401k plan with a matching component, paid medical malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and an annual CME allowance.
