We are hiring Nocturnist Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs at Covenant Plainview.
- Work alongside our dedicated providers, committed to providing patient-centered care in collaboration with all stakeholders in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
- Hospitalist experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.
- We accept both acute care nurse practitioners and physician assistants for this nocturnist position.
- ACLS certification is mandatory.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling:
- 7 on/off schedule
- 7 pm-7 am
Key Responsibilities:
- 7p-7a with floor coverage and any admissions through the ED. The number of admissions will range from 0-8 with an average of 3-4, generally.
- There is a physician on back up for them. If it is an ICU admission in the middle of the night, they admit these, and ICU admissions will require contacting the backup physician.
- EPIC is our EMR.

- Being so close to Lubbock, you will have access to the cities lively culture, vibrant art scene, Texas Tech events, large medical community and more!
- You are just over 5 hours from Dallas, with multiple flights out of Lubbock a day.
