Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of hospitalist physicians who work clinically and lead hospital medicine teams
- Our team members live nationwide and travel to our hospital partner sites
Qualifications:
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Experience in hospital medicine
- Experience in leading hospitalist teams
- Passionate about teamwork, integrity, and delivering high-quality patient care.
- Sound’s licensing team will assist in obtaining any necessary state licenses to work at our hospital partner locations, and we will cover the cost of these licenses.

Flexible Scheduling:
- Ambassadors work a modified block schedule to maximize travel and minimize transitions, ensuring an optimal work-life balance.
- Medical director ambassadors work a full-time block schedule (2 blocks per month).
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing patient care across diverse hospital settings.
- Demonstrating high adaptability in dynamic clinical environments.
- Actively participating in team meetings and initiatives to enhance care quality and deliver better care at the bedside.

- Sound covers airfare and lodging for your travel to each site and your competitive compensation, ensuring you can focus on providing excellent patient care while enjoying all these dynamic cities have to offer.

Rewards and Benefits:
- Compensation: Depending on the work schedule (days/swings), the expected annual salary ranges from $346K to $382K, and there is a leadership stipend.
