Local Team Collaboration:
- Work alongside a friendly and cohesive team of 16 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Our team features diverse expertise, from recent graduates to professionals with decades of experience.
- Participate in hospital committees such as credentials, sepsis, peer review, and medical executive teams, fostering strong connections with specialists and supportive administration.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States
Practice in a Dynamic Setting
Flexible Scheduling:
- Full-time commitment as an independent contractor requires 120 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care at Aiken Regional Medical Center, a 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed emergency department, certified as a chest pain and stroke center.
- Volume: 43K annual visits with 39 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage per day.
- Deliver emergency care at The ER at Sweetwater, a 10-bed freestanding emergency department in North Augusta, Georgia.
- Volume: 23K annual visits with 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage per day.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with APP students and internal and family medicine residents.
