I am the CRNA director for Sound Anesthesia at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, TX. I have been a part of Sound for 2 years. We have a lucrative CRNA opportunity at LMC that you may be interested in. I want to share more about who we are and what we do — specifically about our people, practice, and purpose — as you consider your options:

People 
  • We are a closely-knit team of 4 physicians and 10 CRNAs.
  • Our team comprises of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in their approach to patient care.
  • We work in a collaborative model alongside our physicians doing all of our own cases.
  • We have a team mentality and present calm and collected demeanors during complex cases. We truly have an all-hands-on-deck approach to our care.
  • Laredo is on the Rio Grande in Southwestern Webb County in South Texas. It is located 135 miles from Corpus Christi and 150 miles from San Antonio.
Practice
  • Laredo Medical Center is a level II trauma center running eight points of service per day in addition to 2 OB suites.
  • Our teams cover general, OB/GYN, GI/endo, ENT, robotics, orthopedics, minor vascular, neuro, urology, and minimal healthy pediatrics.
  • Our site has a unique set schedule rotation where we offer 2 weeks on/2 weeks off or, 3 weeks on/1 week off schedule options.
  • Compensation is guaranteed at $257,000 – $400,000 annually, depending on which schedule option you choose.
  • 13 – 26 weeks of scheduled time off.
  • Since this is a 1099 position, no benefits are offered except malpractice fully covered by Sound including tail coverage.
