Physician Assistant / Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner job located in San Antonio, Texas

Our APP collaborative was formed to provide development opportunities and to advance the role of our providers who work alongside our physician providers. We offer the same leadership development opportunities for APP’s that are provided to our physician providers.

The APP hospitalist role

  • 150 beds w/private rooms
  • Established 8 FTE program with advanced practitioners
  • ER runs codes
  • Open ICU
  • 7 on- 7 off, rounding & swing
  • 7 p- 7am, 12 hour shifts w/ support of Telemedicine
  • ACNP’s or PA’s only apply
  • Open to new grads but ideally looking for recent acute care experience.
  • Access SoundInstitute™ learning platform for continuing education, and professional career development with convenient online and in-person educational courses, including CME
  • Perform such other responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the chief hospitalist and within NP/PA scope of practice
  • Current, unrestricted license in Texas and certification. Will consider Family Practice or Geriatric Certification with recent acute care experience.
